  • Swipe history and matching preferences
  • Conversations and messages with matches
  • Ask·Match·Connect search queries and results
  • App interactions and session data

AI-Generated Content

Our AI creates personalized content to enhance matching:

  • Compatibility scores between you and potential matches
  • Suggested conversation starters and icebreakers
  • Interest recommendations and profile suggestions
  • Semantic search results for specific connection types

How We Use Your Information

Every piece of data we collect serves a specific purpose:

Data Sharing and Privacy

🔒 We Will NEVER:

  • Sell your personal data to third parties
  • Share your information with advertisers
  • Track you across other websites or apps
  • Use your data for purposes beyond operating affin ai

The only sharing that occurs:

  • With Other Users: Your profile is visible to potential matches according to your privacy settings. You control what others see.
  • Infrastructure Providers: We use Supabase for secure database hosting and authentication. They process data solely to provide technical infrastructure—never for their own purposes.
  • AI Services: We use Together AI for matching algorithms and conversation features. Your data is processed to generate matches and suggestions—never stored or used by them for training or other purposes.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, such as responding to valid legal processes or protecting rights and safety.

Data Retention and Your Rights

In-App Account Deletion

You have complete control over your data. You can delete your account at any time directly from the app:

  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Tap "Delete Account"
  3. Type "DELETE" to confirm

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your profile, photos, and personal information
  • All matches, conversations, and messages
  • Swipe history and search data
  • AI-generated recommendations and compatibility scores

Complete deletion occurs within 30 days. Some data may be retained in secure backups for legal compliance and fraud prevention purposes only.

Your Privacy Rights

You also have the right to:

  • Access and download your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate or outdated information
  • Control your profile visibility and who can see you
  • Opt out of optional data collection
  • Request information about how we use your data

While we take extensive precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

Age Requirements

affin ai is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will immediately delete their information and terminate their access.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or in-app notification. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page shows when the most recent changes were made.
